2017-2020
SOME NOTHING is a long-term project inspired by the one-act play L’Uomo dal Fiore in Bocca written by Luigi Pirandello. I tried to capture the insignificant objects and unnoticed scenes around, that are mirroring the details in the play, such as drain-pipe, road signs, and misplaced chair from a bar at the street corner, that one would not pay attention to until they are diagnosed with a fatal illness.
It is also a question mark on the personal process of exploring photography: does image have to be meaningful? What is left of it after real events and subjective feelings are stripped off?
